We are being called to reinvent our ways of being by aligning ourselves with the loving, creative force of the universe. While we each have a unique journey toward enlightened living, our paths intercect, inviting us to help each other experience joy along the way.
One of my joys is drumming. Through the voice of the drum I am transported to a time and space where all possibility exists. I feel my connection with Mother Earth and also with the Creator. Holding the intention of allowing the vibration of the drum's heartbeat to carry my heart's desires into the universal consciousness, I silently offer prayerful requests for assistance. Trusting the universal laws are conspiring in my favour, I feel calm and confident my requests are being answered.
Drumming alone is a powerful experience; drumming in community is even more so. Since ancient times, Indigenous people around the world have known and tapped into the awesome creative powers of group drumming.
In these times of rapid and dramatic change, it's comforting to be in community with like-hearted people. In community, we not only benefit by receiving inspiration, support and encouragment from others, we also benefit by giving them.

We gather every 2nd Thursday at 7pm at our Fleetwood location in Surrey.
